The Science of Getting Rich Book Review
The Science of Getting Rich is a manual designed to help you reach financial success in your life. It teaches about the concept of the ‘formless substance’ and how to use it to succeed, while providing practical steps to take in our own lives.
The Science of Getting Rich is written by Wallace D. Wattles.
If you have no idea what the ‘formless substance’ is but are curious to how it can improve your life, you need to read this book!
What is The Science of Getting Rich All About?
The Science of Getting Rich is a practical guide on how to use the ‘formless substance’ to help achieve success in our lives, financially and otherwise.
I find the idea of a ‘formless substance’ to be abstract and hard to understand. In The Science of Getting Rich, Waddles is able to explain what the ‘formless substance’ is in a way that I can visualize and use to help create success in my life.
This book is for someone who is ready to take action right now. It is filled with actionable steps to take, as well as importance of gratitude and having a positive attitude.
What Does This Book Accomplish?
The Science of Getting Rich teaches us how to use the ‘formless substance’ to our advantage in life. Without getting bogged down in too much detail (there are numerous books referenced if you want to dig deeper). Waddles’ explanation helps to clarify an abstract concept so we can visualize it.
There are also many actionable steps throughout the book that allow us to apply what we learn.
While this book is about getting rich, the principles explained throughout can help us succeed in all aspects of life, not just financially.
What I liked about The Science of Getting Rich
Like any great personal development book, you will read it over and over again. I have read this book countless times, and that’s why I am glad that it is a quick read at just 93 pages.
I like that Waddles took an abstract concept like ‘formless substance’ and brought it to life.
Visualizing the ‘formless substance’ makes it easier for me to understand.
I find that every time I read The Science of Getting Rich, I apply something new, meaning that every time I read it, I improve my life.
Sidenote: Just reading personal development books will not do anything for you. You have to take action to achieve your goals. No action = No Goals Reached.
Take it from someone who has read a lot of personal development books over the last 10 years and missed that important step required to improve their life. I am now taking action and can’t wait to see what comes of it. I’ll keep you posted!
Would I recommend this book?
Absolutely!
This is a classic that you must read. Bob Proctor recommends it and he never disappoints.
Seriously though, you will learn a lot from this book. Take your time and apply what you learn.
Take Action.
